Anytime I can return to the islands I can, and if it’s for work even better. Because there is nothing I love more than telling stories of the people of the island (plus I get to see my family). This project was nothing short of highly creative ideas, bold sets, and fun props. Anytime Ariel is leading the charge I’m in, helping bring his stylistic ideas and visions to life. And there really isn’t a better story to tell than that of ‘Ohana’ and First Hawaiian bank.

Behind the scenes…
Being on an island comes with it’s share of challenges, the main one being you’re on a island! Which means your limited with materials, set dressing, and resources that are on the island (or have to plan on extra time shipping things in!) But fear not, the island always provides. And for this project it provided us with some great locations, thanks to our amazing location department.
