This was a highly creative & fast paced project build for the San Francisco 49ers. We had 2 weeks to complete 2 different builds along with delivering and installing. Our production/ and construction teams worked closely with collaboration and problem solving to get the job done. Really enjoyed bringing the vision and storytelling alive for these sets.
Behind the scenes…
It always start with an intro call where we explore as a group intentions and ‘whys’ behind the initial idea and story we’re trying to tell. From there I like to start by mapping out a space creatively and logistically. This happens with 3D models and layouts that underground revisions until we find the right formula. Then we immediately move into high gear. On this project with collaborated with Andrei Hill and his team to build, sculpt and paint the sets. I love organic sets because I love nature and trying to recreate the natural elements that they provide. The last layer that brought these sets to life were the details of lighting, set dressing and props. Seeing it all come together by having the players walk the space and suspending their disbelief was the icing on the cake.
